It is possible for some people to train online using remote study areas such as the Open University. E-learning is an area of huge potential with a lot of room from growth and expansion. As with many aspects of the internet, online learning will help people who have tight schedules and little time to devote to training.

Another benefit of the internet for people who are looking at progressing or changing their job is that they can easily and quickly gain other peoples opinions and ideas.
