Cornhole the Movie Extra Finds Stardom in the Crowd - Articles Surfing

In anticipation of his first shot at movie stardom the Hopeful Cornhole Movie Extra left early that morning for the drive to the country. Soon he would be an Extra in Cornhole the Movie. He did not want to be late for this curtain call.

The night before he had practiced his best cornhole "Extra, Crowd in the Bleachers" moves. The Clapping, the Cheering, the High Fives, he had the part down pat and was ready for his Cornhole the Movie film debut. Soon the eyes of the camera would capture him in that cheering crowd and he would be a Cornhole the Movie "Extra Star". His future looked bright.

The drive to the Cornhole the Movie Set was exhilarating yet nerve-racking. Detour after detour, until finally a friendly face waved him up the long gravel driveway to the next parking attendent that then waved him to the final parking attendent in the very back of the lot. He knew this would be the last time he parked this far from the movie set. For as an Extra Star - Vip Parking would be a requirement. He would make sure of that.

With one final review of his appearance and a tilt of his ballcap, he made his way to the check-in area. More than a 100 Extra Hopefuls had already signed in looking for the same fame and fortune. But this Cornhole Extra knew, shortly he was to be the Superstar of the Xtras, in Cornhole the Movie. He had even practiced signing shirts, and Programs so that he was prepared for all the Autograph Requests from the "Extra Groopies" that would be gathered at the set.

The Cornhole Extras waiting area was nice enough, white tables and chairs, bagels and beverages, proper accomadations for Extra stars. Some tables were placed under set up tents, and some under available shade trees. All of these tables had occupants. Our soon to be Cornhole the Movie Extra Super Star sat at the last remainung table - the one in the hot sun. Didn't matter, he would be in the shade in no time once the Director got to know his acting skills. After a short time the Assistant to the Assistant Director arrived and shouted into the Bull Horn "We're moving to the Set".

He missed that call, nerves had gotten the best of him, and he was in the restroom. As the line of Cornhole Extra Hopefuls paraded past him he quickly blended into the crowd. Soon they entered the door to the movie set. The Set was a warehouse converted to a National Cornhole Tournament Setting. Cornhole Boards were placed properly in the made-up arena while above the playing arena were the Bleachers - empty and ready for Cornhole Extras to fill them. His mind flashed back to last evening going over once again the technique of clapping, cheering, high fives, he was ready. He knew it was only a matter of time before he would take his place in those Bleachers and meet his destiny - a Cornhole the Movie Extra Star. The anticipation was overwhelming. He put his best Cornhole Extra Crowd Face on and quickly became part of the Cornhole the Movie Crowd.

Every instructed cheer he did to perfection. Every clap had an expressed star quality resonance. He was one with the Cornhole the Movie Crowd. When it was time to dismount his acting perch, he left the Bleachers with the command and presence of a Cornhole Extra Super Star. It didn't matter that the camera's eye never saw him. He was too caught up in the moment of Cornhole Movie stardom.

At the end of the day he knew he was the Cornhole the Movie Extra SuperStar. Funny no one else knew that. No Cornhole the Movie "Extra Groopies" asked for his autograph, the Director didn't invite him to lunch, and no one offered to get his car when it was time to leave. None of that mattered. For he knew he was in the Bleachers of Cornhole the Movie - somewhere in that crowd - and was convinced he had claimed his piece of the Silver Screen. For on that day he was a Cornhole the Movie Extra Star.
