Why Are So Many People Failing? - Articles Surfing

I decided to write this article because I have seen far too many people who are desperately trying to make money from home, fail miserably, and I thought that maybe this could help some newbies who are coming onto the net for the first time thinking it's easily done.

So here it is.

I have been online for over 5 years now, and I started out like most thinking that all I had to do was join certain programs, and I would be rich, and if I were to believe everything that I have read over the years then I would be living on my own private island, and although I do make a decent living working from home right now, it has not been easy.

There are far too many people with websites out there who plain tell lies, and it's a sad fact that there are only around 5% of people trying to work from home using the power of the internet, who do actually make it to the top.

Most of those people at the top have made it there through the hard work of other people with illegal pyramid schemes and there like. Did you know that this guy called Charles Ponzi died penniless? Pyramid schemes will always be doomed to failure (legal or not), as they will always fall victim to attrition. This is when those at the bottom of the pyramid who are the least experienced, and have the least amount of cash to spend on advertising fail, and therefore drop out of the scheme. The pyramid rot then starts from the bottom on up.

My advice on these types of schemes ' It doesn't matter how attractive they might sound, DO NOT GET TAKEN IN, you will only lose your hard earned cash!!

The most recent con that I have seen lately is one in which you are told on the website that you can earn a fantastic amount of money just answering emails ($25 a reply is what's stated), and there is no selling required. This is true, you can earn a fantastic amount of money answering your emails, but it's not what you think!

These emails that you will be answering are from your customers, and the $25 you are supposed to be paid is from selling the same website business that you yourself purchased. These sites tell you just enough of the truth (mixed a few lies), to pull you in, and once you have sent your money, there is no support, and no money back. Do NOT get caught up with this one.

What about just setting up a few online accounts and raking in the cash making online transactions? Sorry, those accounts you will be setting up are for your customers to pay you through, and the transactions are from your online accounts, to your bank accounts, again you will need to have a decent mailing list to carry this one off, and you will need to market something which is not entirely honest.

I could go on with the amount of scams there are out there but I would end up writing a whole book on the subject, so for the sake of this article, I will just give you some advice on how not get scammed.

Always stay way clear of anything that requires you to recruit other people, you will end up spending a lot of wasted time and money trying to build your downlines, and you will only end up a whole lot poorer, and very frustrated.

DO NOT fall for these HYIP schemes. These people say they can make you a lot of money trading on the stock market, and the Forex, and maybe they can, but it's unlikely that you will see your money back. These people tend to payout the smaller investments to gain some trust from their customers, but once people start to pay in big money, they tend to disappear.

DO NOT believe everything you read. If you see something that looks interesting, check these people out first, and find out what their background is. Write to these people, and ask a lot of question before you go jumping in with both feet.

All in all it's better to be safer than sorry. The main rule of thumb to go by is IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT PROBABLY IS. I wish I had learned that years ago, but unfortunately I had to learn the hard way.

The one true way I have found to make money working from home is by OWNING your own company, and taking the time to learn what you need to know. Even if you have to start out small with something that you like to do. Many hobbies have turned into full blown businesses.

Take the time to learn what you need to know from the wealth of information that is out there, stick at it, and don't give up too easily at the first hurdle. If you have the determination, and the will to succeed, you can make a decent living from home using the power of the internet.

I hope this helps some budding entrepreneurs out there.
