Sciatic pain is caused due to the compression of the one of the five most important nerve endings. And sciatica pain might be milder to severe in nature. The pain one experiences is generally in the lower parts of the body such as lower back, buttocks, and legs. And good news is, there are various medications available in the market for relieving one from the pain. However, these medicines indeed provide some relief but still they are not able to provide a lasting solution.

Surgery too, is not effective in helping one to get rid of such pain permanently. In fact, a natural process of treatment is considered to be more helpful means of helping manage sciatic pain.

For example, juice made of potato and celery is considered very effective in relieving one from pain. Generally, one adds carrot and beetroot to the mixture in order to enhance its taste. 10 ounce of juice per day is recommended for a patient. One should take it on a regular basis if one wants a better result. Irregularity may not give the desired result. Celery tea or elderberries juice or tea is also thought to be effective in treating the sciatic patient. These juices allow the muscles to relax and also help in proper circulation of the blood and important ingredients in the body. This helps in relieving one from pain.

Besides taking the juices as discussed above, taking garlic and vitamin B complex is considered very effective in sciatica home treatment. Garlic provides the energy which one requires in coping with the disease. The most beneficial aspect of all these method is that there are no side effects.

One can also apply heat to the painful area. And if high inflammation is there in the painful area then one can go for an ice pack. This helps a lot in relieving inflammation. The ice packs should be constantly applied with twenty minutes interval in between. But if someone is having an intense pain then one can also take injection which will provide temporary relief to the patient.

Sciatica home treatment teaches various exercises which may not only help in relieving the pain but will also make the body immune to future pain. It has been observed that the compressions of the nerve muscles are generally because of unhealthy practices. While sitting, while bending, while doing exercise or while driving people do not know what is the right posture and more often hurt themselves. Wearing tight clothes makes bending or sitting difficult. So a person needs to be extra carefully in doing their day to day work. Some corrective steps will help them in leading a pain free life, a life which every one of us craves for.
