Has Your Business Hit A Sticking Point? - Articles Surfing

Is your business stuck in a rut? Do you feel like you have hit a sticking point that you just can not get past? Maybe it is time to look at new ways to generate more sales.

Hate Cold Calling - get an outside company to make the initial call. Cold calling can be soul destroying at the best of times. Why not outsource this and get a professional company to make your appointments and generate new leads. Alternatively if you know somebody that is unemployed or needs a couple of hours work per day, make a deal with him/her that you will give them a decent fee in return for each appointment.

Get in Front of More Customers - It is much easier to clinch the deal when you are talking face to face with potential clients. Everything you do should lead to getting in from of the potential customer. It is so much easier to generate more sales when you are talking face to face.

When you are in front of the customer it is important to be fully prepared. Make sure you have your business cards, brochures, direct debit forms and everything else you need to clinch the deal.

Networking Like Crazy - You can attend most networking organisations free as a guest for at least the first visit. Attend them all and join at least one or two. Your local council might have a networking meeting as will your local chamber of commerce. Then there are dedicated organisations like the BNI that are well worth the membership fee.

Create a Database - organise all the information that you have accumulated over the years so that you can use it properly in the future. Make regular contact with existing customers and keep them updated. Email your potential customers but get their permission first before you start sending regular news letters.

Opening the Door & Closing the Deal - If you find it difficult to make appointments why not attend a cold calling seminar? If you find it easy to make the appointments but find it hard to close the sale attend a sales training course. If you hate selling altogether find someone that can do the selling for you.

Evaluate your Goals - Are your goals specific and measurable? Are they still valid? Have you allowed yourself enough time to achieve them? Is the action you are currently taking helping you get closer to your goals or moving you in the opposite direction?

Sacrifice - If you want achieve anything you have to be willing to pay the price. What are you willing to sacrifice to reach your desired destination? Are you willing to get out of your comfort zone to make the necessary changes?

If you carry on doing the same as you have ever done, you will only get the same results. Only by making changes is it possible to break through any barriers. Was your business stuck in a rut once? How did you manage to get past the sticking point?
