Never Give Up, Never Give Up
You have been told that success is only due to persistence and determination. You have tried many ways and methods to heal yourself, you have written affirmations, you have done visualizations, you have taken a look at your life and made many important changes.
Yet, you are still ill and your illness seems to be gaining ground.
Are you ready to give up then? What if success actually was just around the corner, right behind the next failure.
You see, we call failure the fact that we have not accomplished exactly what we see out. But is it really failure? Or is it the discovery of one more way not to reach your goal? Take the example of Thomas Eddison, who invented the light bulb. He was determined that it was possible to use the power of a heated filament to create light. He pursued his goal, his vision with determination and failed numerous times. You know how many times he failed? He discovered 1200 ways not to create a light bulb? But with persistence and determination, he eventually succeed and thanks to his vision, we now have the humble light bulb.
What is your health worth? How quickly will you give up and claim that you have tried everything? Have you really tried everything? How many affirmations did you try? How many specialists did you see? Did you just give up too easily and allow surgeons to cut parts of you out? Did you let chemotherapy destroy your body and your spirit?
What are you really made of? Who inspires you? Do they give up easily? Do you have role-models that you could emulate? Failure is not an option. In your case, this is a matter of life and death. Unless you are resolved to end your life now, you do not have the option to give up. Find ways to keep your spirit up. it can be a simple as reading inspirational texts or the Bible. Every day, start your day with half an hour of reading those texts. What do you have to lose anyway?
Make a list of what you can do for yourself, and the avenues you have not explored? Have you forgiven everyone in your life? Can you? Have you forgiven yourself?
Strangely, it seems like gratitude and forgiveness are powerful tools for healing and that disease sets in when we stubbornly refuse to let go of grudges and resentments. Where do you feel hatred in your life? Where do you feel dissatisfied?
These are the areas where the most healing can occur. Your birthright is joy and happiness. Our body is wired for joy. (Read Cancer Free For Life to read more about this) If you are not feeling joy during part of your day, it is time to review your life.
