New Childrens Book On Breast Cancer - Articles Surfing

Children's author Jeff Yosick pens an inspirational book explaining to a child the importance of raising money for breast cancer.

The new release of "Running the Race" by Rain Publishing Inc. has been well received by breast cancer surviors and professionals alike.

Running the Race was released in April 2007.

This book is a wonderful story of 'hope' for a child explaining the importance of everyone banning together to raise money for breast cancer research, as well as the basic changes that their own family member may be going through, such as loosing their hair.

Jeff takes us into the world of Ashley a young girl that receives the news that her grandmother has breast cancer. Upon hearing the news, Ashley's mother explains the disease to help her to better understand.

The story continues through the treatment of Ashley's grandmother and the different situations that arise along the way. Ashley takes an active roll through the entire process while learning the importance of love and support.

As the story unfolds, Ashley's family takes part in a special event geared toward breast cancer awareness and raising money for research. The special moments of the day become important memories that Ashley will forever cherish.

Yosick's mother, a breast cancer surviour herself, was the inspiration for Jeff's new release.

This story belongs in every hospital waiting room, doctor's office and breast cancer information source. Children become empowered to help and do not feel as lost not knowing what they could do to help.

The simple yet profound words inspire as they educate and teach children that they to0 can make a difference. Every person that has been touched by breast cancer knows the feelings of shock and dismay, these words are to help us all remember that together we can pull together to help raise the money needed to find a cure and support breast cancer warriors continue the fight.
