The woman might have a passion for pasta and the man will look toward a three-day holiday in Italy, and then schedule a week retreat with his mate in the United Kingdom or France. Couples engaging in quiet conversations and discussing Valentine's Day travel plans will spend the airline flights to all these locations sitting close with hands clasped tightly looking into the eyes of the other.

The romantic ideas for Valentine's Day might be an overnight stay at a villa in the mountains, or a bungalow at the beach. In most loving relationships, the location of the romantic minded trip on Valentine's Day will not even matter to either star crossed lover. The personal time alone together can be spent anywhere in the world, and with every day that they wake up together, both of them will know that they are loved.

These special ideas mean so much to women and men and always require a little organization. As each item on the list is completed, it is quite possible that another one is added. Men want to bestow lots of love on the special lady in their life on Valentine's Day and will want to show it in many ways. Some ideas by the man will be quite excessive in their quest for love to be conveyed. A man might hire a limousine for the night and be armed with sold-out tickets to the theatre. He could also get the idea to take a trip in that limousine with his honey to a hotel resort many miles away. These lavish expenses are nothing in comparison to how the man feels about the woman whom he married and has given birth to several children.
