You are your children's most important teacher. They will learn more things from you and remember more things if you teach them than they will from any one else. Getting your children more active in science will help them through out there lives. You children will be more involved with different things and more curious to lean more about things. You just need to give them ways to be challenged and help them find the information and tools they need to figure out the solutions.

You can usually find house hold products that you can use. You won't have to rush out to the store to buy anything special. This is good so you won't have to spend any extra money just time.
The 4th reason science projects are great activities for rainy days is because you can start one on a rainy day and then continue it on from there. For instance if you start a project that includes having something process over night, you can carry it over to the next day. During this time you can have discussions about what you think will happen or the different out comes that can occur. This helps your children's brains to start thinking and will help them to interact and get the most out of the experience.
The 5th reason science projects are great activities for rainy days are because they will help your children to interact and remember different things that they might be able to relate to in the future. Different children have different ways of remembering things. A science projects that you do at home might be helpful to your children's everyday learning.
Be your children's best teacher and teach them different things through experiments and discussions. Helping them with science project might make them more aware of things and make them want to learn more how things work. Research your science experiment online with your children and then do it with your children one rainy day. This will help them get the whole picture from start to finish on the process of the activity that is being done. Just make sure that after you are done with your science project that you sit down with your children and have a discussion. Ask them questions about what they thought and observed. This will help them to know that you are interested in science and what it has to offer. Having your children see that you are interested in science will make them want to be more involved when it comes to dealing science and all it has to offer.
