Harness The Power Of Delegation To Increase Residual Income - Articles SurfingWere you aware that it is possible for you to build up a considerable residual income by delegating work to other people in a way that is both perfectly legal and ethical? Residual income occurs when you place yourself in a position to earn a percentage of the profit on the sale of a product that was closed by somebody else. The seller will be either someone to whom you have delegated the task of moving a product or someone delegated to do the selling by that person. Once you comprehend how much money you could make with this concept, you will be highly motivated to search out a team of motivated delegates to go out and sell products for you! It is unfortunate that there have been unscrupulous individuals who have abused the system of residual cash income and who have thereby given the entire industry something of a bad name. Nevertheless, a number of famous companies with sound credentials, such as Avon, Dorling Kindersley, and a host of others have rediscovered the secret of business delegation and enabled an increasing number of people to benefit from increasing levels of residual income ever since. The idea behind the residual income model is not difficult to grasp: someone, let's call her Anne, sees a product or service which she likes and decides she'd like to sell it. So she joins the companies 'affiliate program' and beging to sell the product to her network of friends and associates. In addition to selling the product, Anne is also able to bring in another person, let's call him John, to work under her. The affiliate company will reward Anne with a share of the commission of all of John's sales. So, while Anne is concentrating on closing sales in her sphere of influence, John is doing the same in his. Before long, John introduces a friend, Catherine, to the business. In the same way that John's sales earn Anne a small percentage, so Catherine's sales will generate some commission for John. In addition, Catherine's sales will also generate a smaller amount of commission for Anne, just because had it not been for Anne, neither John nor Catherine would be making money right now. Now imagine what would happen if Anne introduced more people into her team. Within a short time, Anne would no longer have to be selling the product to make money; instead, she could simply relax, sit back, and enjoy the residual income generated by John, Catherine and the rest of her team and the people they have recruited. Of course, you do not have to be content with just working for one company and building a residual income network! Instead, why not sign up for two, three, or six affiliate companies? If you are a sales-minded person with a knack for people skills, you will be able to put your soft skills to work and build any number of profitable networks. The real trick, however, is to find companies that offer a worthwhile product with a future, a generous compensation plan, and at the same time one where you will not be so far down the line that you are entering in a market that is already saturated with agents who are working for the company. If you find yourself in such a position, you will find that your only real way of making money is by selling the product and by seeking new markets farther afield, using the gloabal reach of the Internet to assist your overseas promotions. The business model I have described, in which increasing levels of residual income can be earned through delegation of sales responsibilities is, of course, commonly known as multi-level marketing, or network marketing. While some people shy away from this model, the fact is that there are many honest and reputable companies that adopt it. It is also considered by many to be the only real way of making money within the sales field, especially when selling is combined with the power of the Internet.
