After the blood is drawn from a patient, it may need to be labeled and then transferred to the laboratory for testing. Phlebotomists may be found in medical clinics, blood donation centers, hospitals, along with other types of medical facilities. A phlebotomist may need to have good written communication skills. They must also be focused so that they don't have any errors while they keep track of specimens and ensure that all specimens will get to the correct laboratory and information is labeled with the accurate information.
