Apartments in Kingwood Are a Great Place to Call Home

To the citizens in Kingwood, Texas this area is known as the livable forest and this community was created by the Friendswood Development Company. The community was named after King Ranch, one of the original developers. This area is heavily wooded, canopied with tall pines and magnolias, along with twenty other types of shade trees. And Kingwood is located Northeast of Downtown Houston along Highway 59. Kingwood is divided into 21 neighborhoods called villages. Each village has their own set of specific services including an association, distinct style, and varying homes prices. This area is best known for being a community that exists in harmony with nature. And this master planned community covers over 14,000 acres with an estimated population of 65,000 people. The community is host to a variety of wildlife including deer, fish, birds, and more that can be found in five hundred acres of private nature preserves and parks. Over seventy five miles of hike and bike trails, known as the greenbelt, run through Kingwoods naturally beautiful woods and lakes. These trails are great for exercising, walking an bicycling. Big name retail, shopping, and dining venues call Kingwood home, and can be found throughout the area, mostly near the front on Kingwood Drive and in Kingwoods Town Center off of Lake Houston Parkway. In addition, Kingwood is only three miles North of Deerbrook Mall and Humble Texas commercial centers. Kingwood is generally considered to have good commute times relative to surrounding Houston communities.

Entertainment also exists in Kingwood; which boasts a myriad of parks, and two private clubs, which provide challenging and beautiful golf courses. If residents desire entertainment outside of the area; Downtown Houston is a short drive from Kingwood as residents simply need to take Highway 59 South. Houston is home to several sports teams each with stadiums in close proximity to Kingwood.

Apartments in Kingwood offer residents luxurious accommodations and a wide array of amenities. Kingwood apartments boast resort style pools, sundecks which support WiFi, and grilling areas. Cinema rooms have also become more common place as tenants may view private showings of their favorite movies and television shows in a movie theatre style setting. Another big trend are private attached and detached garages. We are seeing more and more renters desire for a private enclosed parking space for their vehicles. The fitness centers in Kingwood apartments are more like a state of the art gymnasiums. Expect to discover free weights, exercise balls, treadmills and cross training equipment with built in flat panel televisions, and more. The interiors will boast nine foot ceilings, hardwood flooring, stained concrete, full size washer and dryers, and energy efficient appliances. Renters will find spacious walk in closets and built in computer desks. And for safety precautions, these apartment communities sport intrusion alarms and privacy fences.

Overall Kingwood Texas offers an incredibly setting featuring lush forests, foliage, and lakes. This appeals directly to families and individuals who prefer a city close to an urban Mecca, but far enough away to enjoy what nature has to offer.
