Davis Homes is opening a new community in Carmel, Indiana 'The Lakes at Towne Road'. Davis Homes is taking over the project for KB Home which recently pulled out of the development. Davis is also sharing this project with Paul Shoopman Custom Homes. Paul Shoopman is the former owner of Dura Builders which was bought by KB Homes a few years ago.

The Lakes at Towne Road is located on Carmel's western borders at Towne road and 136th street just north of the West Clay development. The community will have approximately 54 home sites: Davis Homes will have the majority of them, Paul Shoopman Custom Homes will have small portion and there are four KB Homes that were previously built. The community features three small lakes, a large common area in the center of neighborhood that is centered around a gazebo and walking trails. The community is adjacent to Lakes at Hayden Run which was a joint project from Beazer Homes and Centex Homes.

The homes that Davis will offer are from their Legacy and Platinum collection of homes. They will range in square footage from 1500 up to 3786 and the prices are from the low $200's up to $263,000. Davis is offering 5 ranch plans that range from 1500 square feet up to 2359 square feet. Davis is also offering 12 two story models that range from 2457 to 3786 square feet.

Davis Homes' Lakes at Towne Road should provide Carmel real estate buyers with a new affordable option for purchasing a new Carmel home. These homes are not only priced well below most of its competitors in the area but also priced well below the current KB Homes in the neighborhood. Many of the competitors in the area, such as Drees, Estridge, and anything in West Clay, are marketed towards the upper end buyers and are usually priced from $300,000 and up.

The model homes are currently under construction and will available to view in the next few months.
