Best Party Planning Tip For 2008 Not Just Hot Air - Articles SurfingIf you're planning a party or event it's you need one key ingredient to make your party a success. That ingredient is fun. Not just for kids for everyone attending. Parties are not fun for kids when there's no suitable place for them to play together and just be loud and silly. For us grown ups let's be honest, a party can be a real drag when our kids are bored or when they are doing their loud partying in the same rooms where the adults are trying to socialize. Lets face it, kids and grownups have fun in different ways. Plan for that in advance and your party will be great so here's our favorite new tip. We just tried this at a recent Memorial Day Barbecue gathering (I know, not exactly a festive holiday) but we won't have another party at our house again without this! Schedule an inflatable jumper rental for the day of your event. These are the inflatable bouncing houses like you've seen at carnivals and fairs. We rented our moon bounce castle, as ours was called, from a local company. We made our reservation about 10 days in advance (in some cities you may want to call even further ahead). The owner called the day before to confirm the reservation and arrived right on time. He handled the setup and tear down all by himself with no trouble. We have a small front yard and even it was plenty big enough to accommodate this inflatable bounce castle. If you have a large backyard that can be accessed by a pickup truck you can arrange to have it back there for the day. We were also told that these are often setup right in the street accompanied by some orange cones to block traffic great idea if you have no yard at all. One phone call and about $120 dollars for 6 hours and this was the best money we ever spent toward making a party great! The kids were completely entertained for hours and utterly exhausted when their parents left with them. We were able to have the inside of the house quiet and comfortable for our adult guests and it made a huge difference not having the kids running and jumping around upstairs during the entire day. Even some of the adults had their turn jumping around in it. If you plan to have adult jumpers at your party, check with your local dealer not all of these inflatables are built to support adults. Our local dealer told us that a good commercial quality moonwalk rental is at least 18mil vinyl. Inflatable jumper rentals are available in various styles including bouncing castles, obstacle courses, pool slides, moonwalks, and even popular cartoon characters. Some of these units have a gymnastic style horse or other obstacle inside that really brings the athlete out of the kids. Consider an inflatable jumper rental for your next party, you won't regret it. It's a great source of entertainment, fun and exercise.
