Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a fascinating city that you should explore during your stay in Spain. It's the perfect place to visit if you are an art lover, as it is brimming with museums and art. There's the Golden Triangle of Art, which is three museums ' the Prado Museum, the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofia Museum.
Seville is rich in history and you should check out the amazing cathedral and its bell tower, the Giralda. Seville is also said to be the tapas capital of the world, so try to sample some of its tasty food and drink during your visit.
However, if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle of city life, then Spain has an abundance of areas where you really can get away from it all and get back to nature. There's so much countryside to discover. The regions of Cantabria, Galicia, Asturias and the Basque Country in northern Spain are definitely worth a visit.
What is so good about Spain is that it is an excellent holiday destination to take the whole family. There's plenty for children to see and do, whether they are aged 2 or 12. Whatever the little ones are into - theme parks, zoos, museums or water parks ' Spain has so much to offer its younger visitors, making it a fun and memorable holiday for kids.
