The Addo Elephant Park is an attraction which certainly should not be missed. The original park was begun in 1931 during a time when less than one dozen elephants remained in the local area. Today, the conversation of the sanctuary has resulted in the park providing a home to some 450 elephants as well as nearly 300 Cape buffalo as well as numerous other animals.
