Vegas Package Deals Can Be The Real Deal - Articles Surfing

The wheeling and dealing on the HBO movie Slasher can sum up many people's views on deals. By setting up an $88 deal on a car, the auto salesman can entice customers into the dealership with the hopes of finding the one car that is $88 that day. When they find the car they want, they find it's not the $88 deal, but the salesman is ready to slash hundreds or thousands off the price to make the customer a deal that they gladly accept.

In the movie, another salesman makes a comment directly to the camera offering an analogy of this whole scene. He describes it as similar to a pile of manure on the side of the road for sale at $1 million. Of course, everyone passes it up until the price is slashed to only $1. Then everyone is beating down the door to buy the pile of manure.

This not so eloquent comparison is exactly what customers are wary of. People do wait for lower prices for varied reasons: low income, careful money management, or fear of being taken advantage of. Because of this often repeated scenario, most are somewhat skeptical when they hear of Las Vegas package deals that sound too good to be true.

Of course, anyone spending money on a Vegas package deal will be wondering about the truth of the offer. Is the price a good one, are the offers real, is the quality good? Most likely, even if the deal is only a few hundred dollars, for the average hard-working couple or family, losing that money to a scam will be a hardship.

Rest assured that Vegas package deals can be the real thing. After finding an affordable deal, you can research the offer and ask as many questions as you feel are needed to protect your potential investment in the deal. I found some great travel information at http://www.nightlodging.com. One deal that was researched in such a way ended up a perfect vacation. The package included two nights at a hotel not on the strip, coupons for a show, a dinner in the hotel, and breakfast.

The hotel had such amenities as a pool and a staff that treated the customers as if they were as important as any big casino 'whale.' This was all offered in contingency of interviewing with a time-share manager whose job was to convince the customers to go to a seminar and hopefully buy a time-share property.

This successful Vegas package deal goes to show that not all Vegas package deals are scams meant to sell you one thing but deliver something very different and below standards. In no way was the money spent on something that was not worth it. So maybe in that analogy of the manure, the salesman is not the only one to blame for selling a pile of crap. If the customer does the research and asks the right questions, they will find out if the deal is a real deal or a pile of crap
