Proper nutrition with exercise will allow you to keep playing golf for a long time and operate under your true biological clock. In your body, 1 % of your cells are replaced with brand new cells every day. Where do the replacement cells come from? They come from what you eat and drink every day. In the replacement process, exercise plays an important role. Exercise formats cells to either get stronger or decay. Therefore, nutritional supplements and exercise are keys to our anti-aging strategy. Nutritional supplements: Your body consists of a hundred trillion cells. Those cells live for a few weeks or months at most. Some cells go through the regeneration and replacement process faster than others depending on which organ they are part of. For example, your white blood cells live 10 days; your skin is changed completely to a new one in approximately every 27 days; your muscle cells last about three months. Only a few key stem cells in each organ and your brain cells remain the same. Think of it this way, you get a new body every three months You can imagine what inadequate nutrition will do to your body year after year. The healthy cells are being replaced with damaged cells because you are not supplying the necessary ingredients to support healthy cellular growth. As a result, some organs start having trouble performing their normal functions. Consequently, heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes and other chronic conditions ensue. Such maladies have increased significantly over the last several decades and there is a direct correlation with poor nutrition and/or the lack of exercise. Our Inadequate nutritional intake is the trend in this modern society due to environmental threats such as soil depletion and pollution, plus we over process our food, delay the ripening process for fruit and vegetables and so forth. Exercise">All of these actions decrease the nutrients in our food. Therefore nutritional supplements are necessary in our daily life to insure that an optimal level of daily nutrients is consumed. Exercise: Your body is built to move. When you exercise a signal passes through your body that tells your cells to grow. If you sit down and do nothing all day every day, your cells do not get that signal to grow and conversely they decay. No matter how good your nutritional intake is, your sedentary muscles do not release specific substances that travel through your blood stream. Therefore your cells get a signal to decay instead of to grow. If you start having good eating habits, take nutritional supplements and exercise, your muscles get stronger. It is true if you are in your 80's or 90's and yes even 100's Actual true biological aging is a gradual and slow process.
