Considering Buying An Audi Cabrio? Then Read On - Articles SurfingIf your choice of car is the Audi Cabrio then you certainly have style for the Cabriolet is all about style and it shows it so very well. As it always has been such a popular model there are many second hand models around so those looking to buy a used car have a good choice. If you are considering one of the 2.3 litre model then you could expect to pay just over *2,000 for a decent K reg model. A 2 litre M registered model would set you back somewhere in the region of just over *3,000. If you prefer an automatic then this would be more expensive and you would have to consider adding another *300 or so onto the cost. The Audi Cabrio is a particular excellent model of car for those looking for a second hand bargain. Problems with the Cabriolet are few and far between so it would be one of the more reliable used cars to consider purchasing. Audi have always been well known for building their cars to last and the Cabriolet is no exception. You would of course have to give the car a careful look over and in particular pay attention to the hood. This should go up and down smoothly and fairly quietly and of course as it is made of fabric you need to check there is no sign of damage or repair. Any seller should be able to show you the full service history of the car. They should have all the correct documentation which you can follow up on if any repairs have been done to the car in the past. Along with checking the exterior of the car you also have to give some consideration to the interior. Look for cosmetic damage which could have occurred to the leather interior. As the majority of models have leather trims, steering wheel and seats, all of these need to be checked for damage. Replacements parts for all models are easy to get hold of should you find they are needed. As a rough guide replacing the clutch on an M registered 2.6 would cost around *200 and then VAT on top. The exhaust system would set you back around *400 to replace. You could expect to pay around *50 each if you needed to change the front and rear brake pads and a whopping *100 to replace a headlight. Before handing over your hard earned cash you should also give some thought as to how you would pay for your Audi Cabrio. There are many different finance options and the most suitable would depend on how much you needed to borrow and your credit rating. Those with an excellent credit score would be able to benefit from the lowest rates of interest and if you have a poor rating then a bad credit car loan could be a better choice. Also get some quotes for the insurance for the car, based on the model of car, engine size and your age. If you are in the younger age group you could find that the insurance for the car would be well out of your price range. It is better to find out before you buy the car than after.
