The latest proposed in the list are Delhi-Chandigarh, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Meerut, Mumbai-Vadodra. Well, a good move in all respects, but what about the local traffic in big cities. Traffic jams and chaos seem to be quite an inevitable thing these days and it seems it would never end.

In order to give more teeth to its enforcement efforts the traffic police of Chandigarh has induced three state-of-the-art interceptor jeeps.

Campaigns are being organised to combat wrong parking , on segregation of two-wheelers from four-wheelers to optimize the utilization of parking space, on proper utilization of underground parking lots, on towing vehicles parked in an obstructive fashion and on using innovative enforcement tools like 'wrong parking sticker challans'.
