People who are planning to travel to China for China business reasons need to follow certain guidelines to ensure a smooth entry into this wonderful country of global sourcing. There are certain entry requirements for the tourists coming from abroad and which leaves great impact on import/export.

The tourists visiting country for China business are required to present a valid passport and visa at the airports. These two documents are requisite even while filling in the registration form for securing a reasonably good lodging. The rule applies irrespective of the types of lodgings, be it a hotel or a guesthouse. The foreign tourists for China business who stay with a Chinese family are required to tender a report of their stay to the local public security institution within 24 hours if the home is located in an urban area and 72 hours if it is situated in a rural place. There is a need to submit the identification proof of both the host as well as the guest. This is the rule that applies to all China business travelers, who may form a part of the global sourcing industry.

Global sourcing has opened the gateway for the import and export business in China. This explains the reason why most of the business tourists travel to China. The overseas tourists can visit the places in China if they possess a valid passport and visa for China business purposes. There are certain areas which they cannot visit and there is a need to give due consideration to the travel rules and regulations laid down by the Chinese Government for the protection of China business. The travelers need to behave well and show considerable respect towards the culture of Chinese people if you are making China business transactions for long term import/export.

While planning to travel to China, the tourists need to be very careful about following the rules and regulations. The China business travelers who wish to visit the places not open to the foreign travelers need to apply for a special permission from the concerned government security organs. They can enter the areas with liberty only after having sought the formal permission. People who have taken a tourist visa are forbidden from indulging in activities such as seeking employment in China, conducting a religious propaganda, etc.

If by chance the business travelers happen to lose their passport during their visit for China business, they need to report to the local public security organ without losing any time. Apart from that, there is a need to contact the embassy of his/her (the tourists) own country and inform them about the mishap. The basic idea is to file an application for obtaining the exit document along with the certificate from the local public security organ. All the travelers must abide by the rules and regulations of the Chinese laws. The people in China are very particular about their cultural traditions and anyone showing any kind of disrespect is severely punished. So it is important to keep all these facts in mind while making China business transactions related to import/export.
