Gary Muddyman, Managing Director and CEO

A founding member of Conversisglobal.com, Gary specializes in business-to-business services and brings more than 15 years of experience in operations, sales and marketing.

Gary Muddyman is Managing Director and CEO of Conversisglobal.com, a U.K.-based leading provider of Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation (GILT) services. Established in 2003, Conversisglobal.com is a subsidiary of Ruxley Holdings, based in the United Kingdom.

Muddyman, together with a team that brings more than 60 years to the Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation market, founded Conversisglobal.com with the idea of advancing the understanding and use of localization and translation as a strategic business tool. The company has therefore built its expertise on delivering quality, time-sensitive localization, translation and internationalization services, while providing clients with access to industry experts throughout the world.

As managing director & CEO, Muddyman leads the company's strategic business development and has successfully launched the company's full range of technology, business and marketing products and services within more than 30 markets worldwide.

Prior to joining Conversisglobal.com, Muddyman served as director of operations for K International Plc. In this position, he was responsible for all the development and implementation of business strategies, which included positioning K International within the top ten language companies in the United Kingdom.

Earlier, Muddyman spent 16 years working for London-based HSBC Asset Finance U.K. Ltd., one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world. During his tenor there he led the various product, commercial and business development divisions. In particular, he helped create the Metropolitan Collection Services, the debt management arm of HSBC.

Muddyman received his master's degree in business administration from Warwick University.

Karin PfetzerKarin Pfetzer, Operations Director

Karin has worked in companies in the localization and software development sectors since 1995, with expertise encompassing everything from translation tools analysis to process re-engineering.

Karin Pfetzer is Director of Operations for Conversisglobal.com, a U.K.-based leading provider of Globalization, Internationalization, Localization and Translation (GILT) services. Established in 2003, Conversisglobal.com is a subsidiary of Ruxley Holdings, based in the United Kingdom.

As Director of Operations, Pfetzer manages a team of project managers, desktop publishing experts and engineers for Conversisglobal.com. She is also directly involved with all project management processes as well as personnel and resourcing decisions.

Prior to joining Conversisglobal.com, Pfetzer spent two years with K International, one of the United Kingdom's largest translation agencies. In her role as production manager, she implemented procedures and led the company to achieve ISO 9001:2000 certification. Pfetzer also spent two years as an in-house linguistics project manager for Sage Enterprise Solutions in the UK. In addition, she managed projects in eastern European and Asian languages.

Her previous experience included three years with SDL International as a German in-house translator. There she worked on projects for renowned software and multimedia developers in the technical and scientific fields.

Pfetzer graduated from the University of Heidelberg in Germany with a degree in translations. She later went on to receive her master's degree in business administration from Henley Management College. In addition, she serves on the board of Conversisglobal.com.
