Three Essential Steps To Increasing Productivity - Articles Surfing

Let's admit it; we all want to be more, do more, and have more. When you ask people if they would like to be happier, healthier, or more prosperous financially, you are certain to get an affirmative response. This is because every living thing in nature is programmed with a desire to improve. We are most certainly a part of nature. Since the beginning of time, our deep instinct of wanting to be more, do more, and have more has been one of the primary reasons behind general advancement of the human race.

It is crucial to embrace wanting more as an essential aspect of our lives. This way we may advance our life in any manner we choose and thus advance the entire human race collectively as a natural byproduct. Going where you want to go begins with knowing where you want to go. This is why it is very important to have clear goals written down. A goal which all of us will always share is creating more results in our lives and in the lives of those we love. Please allow me to share how you can increase the amount and quality of results in your life through elimination, automation, and delegation.

Two of the most important resources for any human being are time and money. The reason is because the combination of these two can be transmuted into allowing an individual to pursue any desire and purchase any material object. It is when time and money are in our control we can truly begin to live the life we were born to live.

Fortunately, whether a person chooses to admit or not, we all have the same amount of time available to us in any given day. There is no such thing as *having time* for this, that, or the other. We only make time for that which we deem important and worth while. It is essential to note that we may often spend time performing activities unconsciously in our lives and out of alignment with our deepest desires. It is unfortunate that most people are unconscious about their choices in general.

Beginning to become more conscious of our everyday choices is the beginning of controlling our lives. The individuals who are time conscious realize they are choosing to take time to do what they are doing at any given moment and know they have a choice to spend that same time performing other activities if they wish. For example, if a person says, *I do not have time to exercise everyday,* what they are really saying is, *I am in such a habit of watching my favorite programs on television when I come home from work that I choose not to exercise,* or something similar.

When we begin to control our time we can get a better handle on our finances. Money is a result in life. Money is never a problem. If anyone believes that money is a problem in their life what they are really saying is they themselves are the problem. The reason is because where did the money come from? It came from your own efforts. So if you are not satisfied with the money you have in life at this present moment, alter your course of action in a manner such that money must naturally follow.

Eric Pepin, an acclaimed meditation expert and owner of Higher Balance, Inc. put it beautifully when he said *you have to escape it, to achieve it.* What he means by that is if you wish to accomplish something in life your life, you don*t just set that as your focus. Instead you focus on something higher and achieve your desired result in the process. If you wish to earn a huge amount of money, you must deliver a large amount of value. The best way you can do that is to become really good at what you do.

It is much easier for your to become really good at what you do when you are so passionate about doing it that you lose track of time when you are doing it. Simply put when you are doing what you are passionate about and structure your life in such a manner that earning money is a natural byproduct of your efforts, nothing will be able to stop your cause.

You can only have more after you can be more and do more. It is very much like 3 coming after 1 and 2. To get to 3 from the beginning where it all started which is 0, a person must go through 1 and 2. Similarly, you can only get to have more after you can be more and do more. The individuals who simply want to have more without paying any price for it are choosing an incorrect perception of the structure of reality.

As Napoleon Hill puts it, *there is no such thing as something for nothing.* Everything has a price whether we can see it or not. Only those who are willing to pay the price to achieve an object have an accurate view of reality in life. It is once we commit ourselves and pay the price to have something that we will ever get it. Most of us want to have more and it is perfectly possible as there is an unlimited supply of universal abundance.

The view of reality which touts a limited amount of resources is an out dated paradigm we are all beginning to see dismantle in front of our eyes. The new paradigm rooting right before us in the present says it is your birth right to have more and enjoy life through what you put our there for others since it is universal law for it to come back to you.

Now that we all see benefits of being more, doing more, and having more, allow me to share three questions you can ask yourself which will help you increase productivity and get more results in your life. The answers to these questions will be different for each individual since we all think differently and desire different results in life.

Can what I am doing be eliminated?

Ask yourself, what are my dreams? Dreams are the beginning point of one's journey to any destination in life. Once you are able to put a name and title on your dreams, you can begin to set goals which you would like to achieve. Goals must be written down on paper and come with a deadline for their accomplishment.

It is only when a person realizes their goals can they begin to figure out what they need to do to fulfill these goals. Now, here is a life-changing question to constantly ask yourself; is what I am doing right now moving me closer to or farther away from my dream? If the answer is affirmative and a person is moving closer to their chosen destination by performing a task at present, all the power to that individual.

However, if the task at present is not moving one closer to their goals in life, it is very logical to consider eliminating it. Human beings are creatures of habit. The best thing a person can ever do for themselves when it comes to success and achievement is to begin to plant new habits which empower and move one closer to their goals. We are repetitive creatures, performing same tasks over and over.

With that in mind, eliminating habits and practices which are time-wasters and not moving one in the direction of their dreams can be extremely beneficial. Not only will you now begin to make time for new habits, these new habits are going to raise your vibration and create a snowball effect in the creation of more positive and inspiring habits. This will lead to the creation of a mindset determined in the achievement of a goal or dream.

From watching too much TV to playing video games daily or surfing the Internet obsessively, habits which can be eliminated will most certainly allow an individual to view his goals and dreams in a different light by choosing to use the same time to invest in their future.

Can what I am doing be automated?

Technology over time has absolutely changed the way we live. From cellular phones, to e-mail and the Internet, there are thousands of ways one can become more efficient in their use of the most valuable resources of time and money.

A very simple example of automation is paying one's bills. With the advent of Online Banking, it is extremely simple to pay personal or business bills using the Internet. Now think about it; the time it takes to write a check, put it in the envelope, put a stamp on that envelope, and mail it can be used for something more productive. It only takes a few clicks to pay all bills online at the same time.

Automation is often the crucial element in the successful use of time for any organization. A simple example of automation for a business would be to create forms which can be used to gather information from prospects or new clients instead of using a different approach with each prospect of client. It could also be to create a FAQ (frequently asked questions) section on a website to save time from having to answer the same questions over and over via email or phone.

Can what I am doing be delegated?

The famous saying, *jack of all trades, master of none,* is as true today as it has ever been. A person is unable to become an expert in a chosen field and earn large amounts of money if they choose not to delegate all the daily aspects of running a business to other individuals specifically chosen for such tasks. It is most beneficial for an individual to pick one niche in which they can become an expert in accordance with their given gifts and talents. Since we live in an interdependent society it is crucial for one to realize the benefits of outsourcing anything and everything they possibly can.

An individual can certainly choose to run a business, its marketing, its sales, its accounting, and its customer service and anything and everything else they want all by themselves. However, they will always work in the business, and never on the business. All business owners must always be thinking primarily about what they can do to help more people, increase sales, and grow their business. It is only by choosing to delegate tasks to other individuals who are knowledgeable in their field of work can one create a business or life capable of producing massive results.
