Cordless Speakers have granted us the technological convenience of being able to use and bring our MP3, iPods and other gadgets that need speakers in order to showcase a sound system which a lot of people can hear. Gone are days when you need to have an electric socket so that these speakers can work. These days, even these speakers are rechargeable. Most even come packaged in a small, lightweight appearance.

In fact, cordless speakers are one of the wireless systems that we enjoy whenever we listen to the music on the radio, watch movies on a CD or DVD player, as well as in watching our favorite shows on TV. Normal speakers need a speaker cable. However, since the advent of technology, some speakers that are out in the market do not rely on cables anymore.

Cordless speakers accept an audio signal by using radio wave equipment. These speakers run through a transmitter that sits on to produce audio signal. Cordless speakers also have an amplifier towards the boost output. They need battery power and power adapter to plug into the AC power outlet. The average sound of cordless speakers can actually transmit about three hundred twenty feet outdoors and approximately one hundred to one hundred thirty feet indoors, across ceilings and walls. Cordless speakers are commonly modest in sound and size. Hence, the audio boost from this speaker is great because of its amplifier situated inside each speaker. The amplifier needs batteries or an electric output in order to support its function.

A disadvantage that we can only think is that if your cordless speaker needs battery, then this can add up to your expenses and they can block or interfere with other electronic devices around the house.

Hence, with this so-called radio wave technology, where in, signals from the audio source can be detected by the small receivers located within the speakers, they can either augment a wired speaker*s music or work independently on its own.

Hence, this can be an advantage for people who want their music, radio or audio files played anywhere in the house and even while they do their work or chores.

Listed below are the common types and brands of Cordless Speakers.
