There are some two-way radios that can communicate for a very short distance, perhaps a mile or two. Others have a calling distance of well over 20 miles. There are some two-way radios that are even water-resistant which is a definite advantage if someone in your party should fall into deep water and needs a quick rescue.

Some two-way radios even have different call-tones so that when you receive that call, you will know who is in trouble. Hopefully, you now have no doubt as to how important it is to have two-way radios for whatever trip you may be taking whether just a short trip to the mall or on a long-distance hunting or camping adventure!
