Throwing a Great Hot Tub Party - Articles SurfingThrowing a hot tub party can make you the star of the neighborhood or at least temporarily everyone's favorite relative! A hot tub party can make everyone feel relaxed and merry, and forget about all their worries. If you do throw such a party you'll want to plan carefully. A terrible hot tub party will have the exact opposite effect of what you want--and not just for others but for you as well. But perhaps the planning stage for throwing hot tub parties begins before you even get a hot tub! If you feel in advance that you're going to be using your hot tub for more than just yourself and your household, you'll likely want to consider getting a 12' x 12' hot tub gazebo. Typically, this beautiful monster comes with an eight-foot-square spa area and a cedar roof, acrylic windows, and even a matching table and chairs set. If you're going to be partying it down with your hot tub gazebo you'll likely be wise to include a wet bar and bar stools--matching, of course. And make sure the gazebo hot tub is set in a gorgeous area. Many people find a gazebo to be an invocation of simpler, more ancient times, so if you set it away from your house and among trees or a garden (if you can) this can induce refreshingly soothing Romantic images and pleasant feelings of enchantment. But no matter what kind of hot tub you've settled on, there is more party to plan. As this will almost assuredly be a night time gathering, you'll want to have torches, shapely and colorful candles, perhaps even incense burners. Scented "bucket candles" go wonderfully with a hot tub party setting, too. Music will be very important to the success of your hot tub party. You may want to consider orchestral music or acoustic guitar music. However, the tastes of your guests should be taken into consideration, too. Maybe their way of relaxing is to listen to heavy metal. Use your best judgment as long as the soundtrack for the evening fits in with the hot tub party goal of being mentally and emotionally swept away from the busy, getting-and-spending world. Food and beverages will be another huge consideration. Choose foods that reflect the season--probably Spring or Summer, although it could be early Fall--and have everything prepared and all set out in advance. Small sandwiches work wonderfully, but also include fresh sliced vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts, and even a small buffet spread of prepared foods. As long as the foods can easily be accessed and eaten while luxuriating in a hot tub, you likely can't go wrong. And of course, what would a relaxing hot tub party be without refreshing adult beverages? To fit the mood, fruit juice is probably best for your guests who don't drink. For the others, few things spell relaxation time like wine and beer. Hard liquor may actually not go as well with hot-water immersion. Everything should be chosen to promote relaxation and the melting way of worries...at least for a while.
