Eczema and Me - Articles Surfing

Yes, I have a skin disorder akin to eczema, and this has helped me.

Be careful with the directions I am giving you. Be sure you use consistently and determine the correct amount of dosage for you. Also if any allergic symptoms arise stop immediately. Further if you are known to be allergic to any ingredients mentioned here do not take. If you start to see side effects or allergies using flaxseed oil, stop using it.

Mix in foods and beverages. Never use in heat or cooking.

Use flax seed oil. It can be used both internally and externally. Externally apply to a small one inch square area to be sure there is not allergic reaction. External application has helped some individuals. Always store your flaxseed oil in a refrigerator when not in use.

Internally, the body uses the flaxseed oil, but uses anti-oxidants to work with the oil. Therefore vitamins A, C, and E are needed by the body in conjunction with the flaxseed oil. You will therefore want to supplement the flaxseed oil with these three vitamins.

When beginning use a very low dose and gradually increase it, until results are seen or you reach the maximum suggested dose. Start with 25 mg of B, and gradually increase it to 100 mg in 25 mg stages.

The results may take up to a year. Others take 3 or 4 months and still others may see marked improvement in only a week. You should be consistent in the taking of the vitamins and flaxseed oil every day.

Begin with no more than half a tablespoon of flaxseed oil. gradually after a couple of weeks increase to a whole tablespoon, then every two weeks increase by half a tablespoon until if needed you are at 4 tablespoons a day. You will need to observe and experiment with the amounts.

After 6 months I began to show some improvements in my condition, so you may need to be patient. If the condition persists or gets worse you will want to stop treatment and see a dermatologist.

As with many medical disorders, some people respond and others do not. But, I am sharing with you what has reduced some of my skin disorders.
