3 Fool-Proof Ways to Increase Web Site Traffic For More Sales - Articles SurfingThe sacred key to marketing and sales success is something that every affiliate marketer seeks. Always in search of that "magic formula", affiliate marketers prowl the Internet in search of an answer, a key or secret that will make them rich. What most people in search of the magic formula do not realize is that it is not magic. It simply requires hard work, tenacity and passion about what you are promoting. Proven marketing principles continue to provide the roadmap to success. It simply takes one step after another and as time passes, things will start to happen. Simply put, there are three fool-proof ways increase web site traffic and sales conversions. They are not hard, but do need to be done on a consistent basis in order to work. Tip #1 - When you promote a product, give it space. What that means is that you should build a unique web page for each product or service that you are marketing. Web hosting is as cheap as it can be, so there is no reason not to give each product or service a separate page. You will want to include a product review, benefits of the product or service and some comparisons of similar products or services. You will also want to target your traffic so that the visitors who arrive at your website will be interested in what you are selling. You do not want someone who is interested in glass figurines to be at your website if you are selling trendy designer handbags. Your conversion rate will be much lower than if you get traffic that is interested in handbags to look at your offerings and product reviews. Tip #2 - Include testimonials where possible. While you are writing about the product, a prospective customer might that think you are knowledgeable. However, people tend to trust testimonials delivered by other people who have bought the product and are happy with the results. No matter what you are selling, testimonials are essential to making your potential customers comfortable with buying from you. Be sure to focus your testimonials, product reviews and sales copy on the benefits of the product and not the features of it. Highlight how your product will save them money, gain them time, make them feel more energetic and the likes. Tip #3 - Offer something free for signing up onto your mailing list. It could be a free report, a new piece of software, a how-to e-book and the likes. You will want to advertise your signups and free reports in the upper left corner of the page. This is because, most people start reading from there and it has been proven to be the most effective spot. In that corner, your often overlooked report will become diamonds and a must-read for the visitor. You have to put it in the right position. After you get the signup, you will want to send the name to an auto responder to follow up on a periodic basis. While you can get targeted visitors to your site, you will want to remember that only 1 out of 100 people who come to your site are likely to buy your product on their first viewing. This is why the follow-up email list is so important. However, if you do not follow up and instead, depend on the usual volume of traffic, you could still make a good living, but miss out on earning much more. For example, if you get 1,000 visitors to your website who are targeted and very interested in your topic, you will only get about 10 sales on the average. If you do 10 sales every day on a low end product that costs about $25 per day, in 30 days you will have made $7500. The figure is pretty impressive, but it can go even higher if you put these 3 fool proof techniques into good use.
