4 Tips For Choosing the Best Online Floral Delivery Services - Articles Surfing
Ordering flowers online is a very thoughtful way to let someone know that you care or that you haven't forgotten a special occasion that is important to them. That's the easy part. The difficult part may be finding the best site to facilitate your needs. If you have only done this a time or two, you might be spending money unnecessarily by not doing a little research in shopping for an online floral delivery service. Sometimes it just makes sense to put forth some due diligence and find the best deals out there. So here are four suggestions to consider when shopping for the best online floral delivery service.
#1 ' Do some price shopping at several sites.
Pricing with online flower shops will vary a great deal as far as delivery terms are concerned. You will notice that resellers will be more expensive than real flower shops, try to go direct to the source, you will find that they not only have better prices but they are also more reliable and trustworthy. However, you should still comparison shop at several sites to make sure you are getting the best price for that bouquet.
#2 ' Is same-day delivery offered?
Normally, if you have placed your order before noon (in the time zone that the shop is located), there is a possibility that the bouquet can be delivered to the intended recipient. However, you shouldn't rely on this factor and should always attempt to do your ordering a minimum of 24-48 hours ahead of when you want the person to receive it. Same-day delivery is a nice are to find with an online floral delivery service, especially if you are the kind of person that has the tendency to procrastinate (like I do).
#3 ' Does the online shop offer a Personalized Messaging Service?
Again, this is another nice feature to look for as it enables you to put a personal message with the bouquet. Normally, the way this is done is by virtue of an online field that you fill out while going through the ordering process. Granted, the message won't be in your handwriting per se, but the person who is receiving the gift will appreciate what you have done for them nonetheless.
#4 ' What are the actual delivery charges?
Here is where this issue really requires some due diligence on your behalf. Generally, the floral delivery fee is not shown or included in the price of the bouquet or even on the floral company's website. It is not uncommon for delivery fees to range between $6 and $10, or even higher. A lot of this depends on the items being ordered as well. Weight factors come into play in some instances with gifts other than floral arrangements so you should see whether or not this is a consideration in the delivery fees as well. Figure out the floral arrangement or gift that you want to send, add the delivery fees to it, and then comparison shop another four to six sites before making your decision.
Hopefully, with the above information you can have an easier time of finding what you're looking for not only quicker and easier, but more cost-effectively as well.
