Is The Internet A Haven For Thieves? - Articles Surfing

'Caution', your computer is a haven for thieves. The Internet allows thieves to reach around the world into every household through their computer. The computer can produce untold knowledge and wealth or provide an opportunity for thieves to reach out and put their hand in your pocket. You don't even know what country you're being being assaulted from. The unscrupulous pray upon the hopeful with promises of a better life while delivering only despair and heartbreak.

The Internet allows people to reach into homes with false ads and promises it has become a playground for the thieves. When it comes to money; many people have no values. They do what ever they have to for the almighty dollar. Scams, unfounded declarations of wealth abound on the net like water from a spring rain. Every campaign seem to be the same. It's always 'I have the answer,' 'I am the best,' 'I discovered the secret,' 'I will make you rich' . . . Hogwash! That's right, I say HOGWASH! It's all hype aimed at separating you from your hard earned dollar. There is no payday, no easy money only lies and more lies.

Yes, there is a lot of money to be made on the Internet but there are no magic formulas, no fast, easy money, no $30,000.00 weeks. Like any other job there's only hard work. Even when article writing people are unscrupulous. The, so called, authors pay someone else to write for them then pays someone to mass deliver the article. What truth is there in that? You can't tell who is lying anymore. Everything has become so hyped up and aimed toward making money that there is no honesty left.

We're seeing the the same snake oil salesmen of yesteryear shouting claims of cure and delivering broken promises. They traveled from town to town selling their phony wares then crawled back into the back allies waiting for an unsuspecting fool to come along. What difference is there between this and todays Internet?

Today's business is changing, the playing field has changed, instead of a few customers coming to your downtown store, there are millions of customers coming from cyberspace, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. In the future at least fifty percent of the population will be making their living from the Internet. Why, because there is very little overhead, no employees, no liability insurance, no unions, no hassles and the world is your customer base.

But, everything comes with a price. Just like the off line world, you have to work hard to get recognized. You have to advertise your product the same as off line by putting up billboards, putting your ads in other medias and getting recognized as an authority. Competition is furious and at first your working hours are long. If you are able to endure, do what you have to do, don't pay any attention to the nay Sayers, the rewards are forthcoming.

Conclusion' You can make money on the Internet if you are very cautious. Look around and find the honest people who have been around for a while. Decide on what you want to work with and ignore the rest.
