Where To Start For Newbies On The Net! - Articles Surfing

In his amazing book, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," Robert Kiyosaki reveals that to make money you have to expand your financial vocabulary. When I first read that my jaw dropped with amazement. I expected to be told that to make money I had to do something really hard, set distant goals, burn the midnight oil-not to be told to do something I reckoned was real easy!

But reading his book again as well as other groundbreaking books on making a living online and wealth consciousness has convinced me that Robert Kiyosaki is right.

To build wealth on the net we must have the "bricks", the words to understand and to do the job. A Newbie has a hard time on the Net. There are lots of clever folk talking in technical or marketing jargon and lots of hype from people selling expensive products as well.

Where to go, who to believe?

Once you've started and earned your first few dollars you can see where to go and you will know what to do. But you need that first little victory

The Affiliate Model

Suppose you have a friend who wants to sell their car and you know someone who is keen to buy it. You can bring these two people together and make both of them happy! This is exactly the job of the affiliate.
Affiliates power the commercial side of the Internet. and without Affiliates the world wide web would be a poor, small boring place in which to surf!

The Affiliate introduces buyer to seller, acts as a "middle man" and gets paid a commission. Getting paid for making the buyer and seller happy is almost a perfect job! And the commission is a percentage of the purchase price. At the low end this could be 15 to 20 % and at the high end 75%. The usual commission rate is about 45 to 50% for an ebook or other electronic download and perhaps only 20% for a solid product that has to be delivered.

The Affiliate model is the best for a new entrant to Internet Business. The start up costs are low and you have no customers or staff to support. The main activity of the Affiliate is to write useful and informative articles about his or her topics of interest. When published on a website with hyperlinks to a relevant product, the Newbie affiliate can begin to earn their commission.

Notice that the job of the affiliate is to inform or criticise not to sell. The selling is done on the merchant's site. so not only is the affiliate model ideal for those with little start up capital but suits those who 'hate selling'. With the flexible hours to work around family or college commitments and no commuting more and more Internet Newbies are choosing Affiliate Marketing as a model of business that fits into their lifestyle
