3 Tactics the Successful Affiliate Marketers Know - Articles SurfingI think everyone wants to make the biggest paycheck possible, and affiliate marketers are no exception. But just like any new 'job' or 'position,' affiliate marketing takes time to learn. There is no 'one way' to affiliate success; it just takes time, dedication and hard sweat to learn the ropes. That being said, there are a few proven tactics that will help any affiliate marketer. Employing the use of these three tips will increase your sales and help you survive in the shark invested waters of affiliate marketing. The Goods ' Three Tactics Step by Step 1 ' Market Each Product as the Only Product in the World If you have tried your hand at affiliate marketing for any length of time, you promote more than one product. That being said, promoting one web page with ten or twenty programs, ebooks or such will NOT bring success. Sure you may cut down on your hosting bill, but saving twenty bucks a month will cost you potentially thousands. Create a site that focuses on only one product. This way you can get deep into the programs advantages and reasons why the consumer needs it! Make sure to include reviews. You may like the product, but so what? However, it is harder to argue against something the more its praises are sung. Do include testimonies with pictures and personal quotes. Consumers need to relate to the users of the promoted product and what better way to do so, but with real people? Include articles that not only explain uses for the product, but why the product is needed. It is important that these articles include real information. Web pages should be attractive and invite the visitor to explore more. Take the time developing compelling headlines. Focus on one point and state that clearly in the headline. Have more than one thing to praise? Create another headline! 2 ' Visitors LOVE free reports! The best location seems to be at the tip top of your web page. You want visitors to see it!! It's easy to set up an autoresponder that will email each person that signs-up for your free report. The more contact with a person the better; it's been readily proven that it takes seven contacts with someone to close a sale. Make it easy for your prospect to find information that reminds them of how valuable the product you're promoting is! This way they can only choose to keep going, as in buy or sign-up or leave. A follow up with an auto responder reminds them once again how they can not live without your product. But don't make it too 'sales like.' Prospects do NOT want to be pushed. Your autoresponder should have an interesting headline. Without one, your email will go straight to the garbage bin. Avoid the word 'free' since most email spam filters will delete your email before the prospect even gets a chance too. Explain how an opportunity will be missed if the product is passed. 3 ' Don't Attract Everyone! This will be a waste of time and money. Think of who your product targets? Promoting your product anywhere and everywhere may result in a lot of 'hits' to your site, but who cares if it doesn't result in a sale? Submit articles to e-zines and article sites that are of interest to your audience. Focus on who needs what you offer. Find corresponding publications that your target audience reads. If you decide to write articles, keep a few guidelines in mind. Two articles weekly, 300-600 words in length are a good starting point. Over time, you may attract more than a hundred visitors daily. Now these are targeted visitors that came to your website free basically. Yes, you took the time to write articles, but did not have to spend money to do so. Keep in mind, it is agreed that about 1 person out of 100 will buy what you are promoting. After continuous article writing it is not uncommon for a site to generate about 10 sales a day, or 1000 targeted visitors. These three tips are just the iceberg. But, if employed they will serve you well. As you go along, new ideas will come and go, but these three tactics will keep a steady stream of visitors, and more importantly sales!
