Strategic Planning For Your Printed Newsletters - Articles Surfing

Similar to your flyer printing project, your marketing message in your newsletters can't do without a planning procedure. The planning process is significant because it provides you with the time to sort out how you're overall look for your newsletter would be, what elements would be included, as well as how you're going to get your print materials right on time.

Here are a few more tricks to help you plan your print newsletter:

Use graphics to enhance your print material. Graphics may include photos, illustrations and artwork. You can also make use of charts and 'pull quotes' such as the ones used in magazines and other publications. What magazine publishers usually do is to pull out a quote from an article and then enlarge that quote in the layout for emphasis.

Avoid blocks of large text. Use graphics instead to break up your page. You can also apply shaded boxes with information to keep your target readers' interest. Sidebars are also great ways to keep your clients reading your newsletter.

Improve your photos. There's no excuse for you to have bad photos in your marketing print. There are many software programs nowadays to help you edit and improve your image. Adding photo in your newsletter provides that personal touch that can draw your target readers to your message.

Color is better. Although full color printing such as the one used in printed flyers nowadays, may cost you more than you can afford, they're still worth it. With a limited budget, you might want to opt for one- or two-color newsletters which can still provide you the marketing material you need to attract your clients. You can also use tinting for your colors to create the illusion of different shades in your newsletter.

Go to a professional printer. If you really need to make a difference, you need a professional printer with experience to handle your printing job. There are many printing companies nowadays that can provide you with jobs that are affordable and yet excellent quality. You just need to shop around for the printer to suit your needs as well as your budget.

Provide high resolution negatives if you can. You can always lessen errors in your marketing material if you can provide your printer with high resolution negatives instead of paper copies. This would also help you get results that are truer to the original than most paper copies can.

Or, you can also save your flyer printing material in a digital file format and then bring the disk to your printer. But make sure that you have the same file format as that of your printer. This would make it easier for your printer to transfer your files to their software printing program.
