Early mornings tend to come with a bit of a lag period for many of us. No part of our body feels like moving too fast until that first cup of coffee hits our mouth. Our fast paced society has made it hard to enjoy a warm cup of brew at the breakfast table anymore. Luckily coffee travel mugs have come to the rescue.

The majority of coffee mugs are made with an insulated metal layer or thick ceramic material. The design and material keeps drinks warm for an extended period of time and is easy to clean. Many models are even safe to throw in the dishwasher so that you can use them over and over everyday.

In fact travel mugs are so handy that I thought I would use them as a promotional item for my business. I bought a large supply of well made travel mugs and sent them off to the printer to have my business logo and contact information put on the side of each mug. From then on I would hand out the coffee mugs to customers or potential clients as a free gift. It is not even necessary to brew your own coffee. Use your coffee mug to fill up at the local coffee shop or convenience store. Sometimes, especially at small coffee shops, they will give you a discount for bringing in your own mug. You could even be rewarded with a repeat customer discount for using your own mug every time you come in.

Even those who don't enjoy a daily cup of coffee have a handful of uses for a travel mug. The material that the majority of mugs are made out of is simply an insulation lining. This means that cold or hot drinks can be enjoyed from your mug. Some may use their mug for tea, soda, lemonade, ice water, or even a smoothie. They could keep a beverage cold for a day at the beach or keep one hot for a December football game.

If you are trying to give an even nicer promotional item, try dressing up the coffee mug a bit. You can purchase a small bag of gourmet coffee beans and have them nicely arranged and wrapped with the travel mug. I have found that some people really enjoy receiving a mug with an assortment of teas, or cocoas too. This is a classy way to make your promotional item stand out and it really is a practical gift.

The many uses for an insulated travel mug make them great advertising specialty items or promotional products for your business.
