Using Promotional Pens Is Economical Marketing - Articles SurfingPromotional pens are probably the most economical use of your marketing dollar today. You usually provide them to customers and clients for a very modest fee, if you're a careful shopper. This is not to say you can't pay more than a few pennies for a promotional pen. You can. In fact, you may want to. If your need is something along the lines of a more elegant pens to be used as corporate gifts or to impress potential clients, you may opt to pay a little more this something this durable. Without even knowing it you've probably collected a few promotional pens. Most of these writing instruments come from visits to your doctor, real estate agent, and mechanic. Or, you seem to accidentally pick them up at the drug store, the grocery store, the bank, the restaurant, etc. You get the idea. Now that you're thinking about it, it seems they're everywhere and you can't stop collecting them even if you try! Don't believe me? Just look around your house or in your desk and see how many you have. Then, try to remember where you got them. Can you? I think if you spend a little time with this promotional pen exercise you'll see what I mean. Now, on the other side of the coin: Let's say you run a small business. You obviously need a way to stay on your customer's mind without bugging him or here. Enter the promotional pen. It's a very economical way to do exactly that. An additional benefit is that it's a great way to get new customers to realize what you provide in the way of products and services. Think about it for a second, if everyone accidentally picks up these promotional pens all the like (just like you), chances are they probably leave them somewhere just as easy. Joe Blow picks up this pen later only to find your company and its contact information on it. Now he knows about you and maybe he'll check out your website or give you a call. This is someone you wouldn't have reached otherwise. This is a potential client. It's really up to you to get him/her to come aboard after they make contact. But at least you have a chance. Because promotional pens are so cheap and economical, you can afford to provide them to people for just about any occasion, including corporate sponsored events, large or small. People usually put their company logo, tagline, address, website, and/or phone number on them. It's like a business card but more useful. Treat it like a business card when you're designing it and you'll get what you want from it marketing-wise. If you go through all the trouble of printed them up and don't have a phone number, it's probably a waste of time and effort. Don't make the customer search you out. Make it easy for them.
