Most of us in recent years have bought over the counter whitening toothpaste. There are also kits available that you may have seen (or tried) such as whitening strips, whitening trays, and so on.

Most credit card companies allow automatic payments online. So you could open up a credit line with this kind of intro offer, set up auto pay, and forget it! After the promotional period, you could just cancel the card and everything would be paid off. This is equivalent to forcing yourself to save the money, in essence.
