Gyno surgery, short for gynecomastia surgery, is a male breast reduction surgery used to reduce the size of a man's areola or general chest region. Before commencing with gyno surgery keep a few things in mind. First consult with a physician to make sure the surgery is absolutely necessary. In some overweight males merely losing the extra pounds will reduce the size of the breast sufficiently so as to avoid surgery entirely. Also ask around the bodybuilding community; either through Internet forums or gyms to see if there are any popular recommendations for plastic surgeons in the area. Because bodybuilders are typically affected with this their community will have a wealth of information available. Lastly make sure to check and double-check your surgeon's references. If anything seems out of order do not go forward with the surgery and keep looking for a new surgeon.
