How To Become Prosperous And Stay That Way (Part 1) - Articles Surfing

Okay everyone I am starting another long series. This one is going to be how to keep yourself prosperous. At times I will relate back to my affiliate marketing. Most of these tips can however be used in any of your financial adventures. Keep coming back to read the newest excerpts. I will publish this on line but once I am done I will be making it into an eBook. So sit back, relax and enjoy.

You Have To Decide What You Are Worth

First you have to figure what your physical value is. When you say you feel like a million bucks do you or are you just making an expression. When you say a million bucks it because that's how much you think you are worth and your feeling decides what you want to be worth.

If you lost a leg in an accident and insurance offered you a million dollars or they told you that they have the technology to give you another leg and make you just as good if not better than before, what would you do? Is going without a leg for the rest of your life worth it. So it's important for you to focus on the things you do have and not the things you don't.

Now it is time to decide what your brain power is worth. If you go into a situation and you are confident and positive that you are going to make a sale then you have your mind working in the right direction. You are forever selling your brain power. You might be asking for a pay raise or trying to buy a car. If you walk in and your mind set is right then you will walk out with what you want on your terms. Of course you have to be realistic. Walking into a boat shop with your brain fixed on only paying five dollars, well I'm sorry but it's not going to happen.

If we look at the reverse of this. A person who doesn't control his mind might walk in to buy a vehicle. He knows what he wants but walks out with absolutely the opposite of what he wanted or something that he really can't afford.

My friend has been a door to door salesman selling vacuum cleaners for about twenty years. He is always at the top of the leader board, he earns all the trips and prizes for sales quotas. Last year he made 250 000 dollars selling vacuum cleaners because when he gets to the door he doesn't ask people but rather he tells them that they will be buying a vacuum cleaner. This takes guts but it also involves lots of confidence and a very positive mind frame.

Next thing we will talk about is your possessions value. You are very wealthy when it comes to possessions. Obviously you have a computer and internet service. Your most likely sitting at a computer desk right now. Do you know how many people in the world can't afford a computer? I'm willing to bet that most people reading this have running water, heat, electricity and groceries in their cupboard and fridge. What I'm getting at here is don't dwell on the things that you don't have but rather be excited about the things you don't have because there are many people in the world with a lot less then you.

Okay this is the end of my first excerpt on how to become prosperous and stay that way. In the following weeks I will continue on with this series. It is important to follow the series. You can print each edition if you want because remember once it is done it won't be available for long because as I submit these I am working on an eBook that will be going for sale.
