Josh kissed his little girls and wife and headed to the taxi that was awaiting him. He was off to sunny Florida to do a real estate deal that he and his partner, Ed, had been working on for months. Yet, he had been doing a lot of looking in the Florida's newspapers lately. At first, Kim thought it was just to find some entertainment for the times that he would be free. She found him often looking at the real estate section. That shouldn't be too odd because he was a real estate investor after all and this deal that was closing was in Florida, but the sections that he seemed to be taking interest in were not the run-down investment opportunities that he had previously chosen. These were nice cottage homes near the ocean.

In her suspicion, about a week earlier, Kim decided that she would have some software installed into his phone that would allow her to know where Josh was at all times. She wouldn't be able to see him, but knowing his locations could help unravel the mystery that was working constantly at her mind. She did this one afternoon when she was supposed to be grocery shopping only. When she returned, he had noticed that the phone was missing, but she 'found' it for him and everything was fine. The software was there and she would be able to track his movements over the next three days that he'd be gone.

In Florida, business took about one day for Josh to complete. When he arrived, he had a light lunch and headed to the title company to 'close' the real estate deal that was most recently negotiated. When this was done, he went back to his room, took a nap, then when he awoke he began his true business. He looked and looked in cottage after cottage to find the gem that he and his family could enjoy year after year. He knew his girls loved the sun and the water as much as he and their mother did. Therefore, he wanted a cottage that was close to the ocean, big enough for all of them, near many attractions that they would enjoy over the years, and homey enough to call home. He hadn't told his wife that his investments had led him to a wonderful career opportunity here. He thought that if he had everything planned out first, convincing her to move would be much easier. Little did he know that she was at home wondering what in the world he was up to?

She wasn't concerned about fidelity. She knew him too well to think that he would ever stray. He was a family man and that meant everything to him, but she couldn't figure out what he was doing. He was moving a lot, going from place to place. There was the occasional restaurant, but other than that it looked all residential. She had no idea he was looking for their new home.

He arrived home by taxi at about 7pm to a very confused look on his wife's face. She couldn't admit what she had done to his phone, but she wanted to know what he had done so she confronted him with the length of his stay. After some accusing looks and talking back and forth, he finally admitted that he had had a job offer that he couldn't refuse and he wanted to present his family with the whole package; home, job, wonderful location, etc. After short deliberations and consideration, deals were made, homes were bought and sold, and the move was made. Josh successfully convinced Kim that a move to Florida was best and she was happy that she knew her husband so well.
