Titleist Drivers - How To Find The Best One For Your Game - Articles Surfing

Titleist drivers are among the most popular drivers being played among golfers today, both on and off the PGA tour. Very simply, these drivers are known for being very straight and long, and you certainly couldn't go wrong with purchasing a Titleist driver for your next club.

Titleist is one of the most famous and recognizable golf manufactures in the world. From Titleist Golf Clubs, Titleist Fairway Woods, Titleist Golf Irons, Titleist Golf Wedges, putters, balls, tees, hats, shirts, bags, etc, you can find anything you want made by Titleist. Along with companies such as Nike, Callaway, and a few others, they are one o the leaders in the golf industry.

Obviously, as opposed to a lesser known brand, you will have to shell out quite a bit of money for a Titleist driver, particularly a new one. However, if you are an avid golfer and serious about improving your game, the extra investment very well could be worth it.

Of course, Titleist offers quite a few different driver models, and therefore it's not as simple as going down to the store and choosing any one to pay. Titleist Drivers are made in all different sizes, club shaft flex levels, etc, and you will need to choose the best one to fit your game. Here is some important information to keep in mind when trying to choose the right one for your game.

First of all, one of the most popular Titleist Drivers is known as the Titleist 907 D2 driver. This also includes the D1 as well, which is a slight variation of this brand. This is a large headed 460cc driver, and contains a very significant amount of inertia which gives the club increased distance and also a high forgiveness level-excellent for players with higher handicaps.

This club also has a higher MOI, which essentially describes how much the club resist to twisting. With a high MOI, you can hit the ball much farther, and the 907 D1 and D2 certainly contains this feature. The club comes at a price of about $500, and if you are a serious golfer, this would certainly make an excellent choice for you.

The next up is the Titleist Pro Titanium 905R and S models. These clubs contain a very high launch and low spin ratio in order to achieve maximum distance off the tee.

This is also a 460cc driver that contains a shallower club face in order to achieve the highest level of ball speed, launch angel, forgiveness, etc. In fact, it contains one of the biggest sweet spots out of any driver on the market today. Theses are sold at $400, and while they offer slightly less quality than their D2 and D2 counterparts, are certainly still very high quality.

The bottom line is, no matter whether you are a beginning, amateur or professional golfer, Titleist offers a model that will fit your needs. The best way to find out which is best is to take a short trip down to your local driving range and test out each one before purchasing to find out which one you like best.

Remember, the driver is one of the most important clubs in the bag because you will be hitting it so often; this makes it imperative to take your time and find the best one before purchasing. Hopefully this information will give you some guidelines as to which Titleist drivers one to invest with and start improving your game immediately.
