The Cyprus road maps show that as the island is actually quite small and the network of highways is very good and links all the major towns, from there you can branch out and wander around at your leisure. Cyprus property for sale is very popular especially to UK citizens due mainly to the feeling of familiarity; most Cypriots speak English, driving is on the left and all the road signs are the same as the British and are in Greek and English, the legal and banking systems are both based on their British counterparts and satellite television means that you can still see your favourite shows! Also on Cyprus road maps are marked the Sovereign Bases where British Forces are based, which means there is also BFBS radios 1 and 2 and if you are near the bases you can sometimes pick up their television station as well. Added to all that there is of course the wonderful climate of long hot summers and mild winters, yet still having snow on the Troodos mountains ' if you miss the cold!!
