PMS Relief ' Make the Pain Stop'.Please!

PMS Relief - Women all over the world suffer from the pains of PMS every month. The bloating, the crankiness, all would appear to conspire to ensure a miserable experience. PMS relief however, is available. Some women take over the counter medications that reduce the symptoms, while others need the extra strength that a prescription from their doctor provides. Some women take birth control pills simply for the fact that it reduces the intensity of their period. But some women are looking for a more holistic approach to dealing with their period and that is what we are going to talk about here.

There are many natural cures for PMS that might be effective for some women and not for others. You see, there's no single cure that will cover all of the PMS symptoms and provide complete PMS relief for each and every woman. Even are not a cure all. Women who put up with many symptoms often require different medications to try and live comfortably. It is the same with holistic or non-traditional remedies as well. Most women find the most relief from PMS comes from a combination of dietary and lifestyle changes along with a combination of over the counter or prescribed medicines as well as more natural approach to PMS relief.

Most woman find relief from the following PMS symptoms:

1. Bloating
2. Breast tenderness
3. Depression
4. Fatigue
5. Aggression
6. Anxiety
7. Backaches
8. Food cravings
9. Headaches
10. Insomnia
11. Mood swings
12. Weight gain
13. Sadness

Thankfully, women don't typically suffer from each of these symptoms but may experience all over the course of their lives as well as a differing degree of severity for each symptom.

In studies Asian women have been found to suffer the least from PMS or menopausal symptoms because they eat a diet high in soy. Soy in plants and other foods is rich in Phytoestrogens which has the effect of increasing the estrogen levels in the body. Some women also find that reducing the amount of salt the week before their periods helps with some PMS relief as well. Compound the effect of reducing salt with increasing the amount of water intact will enhance the reduction in salt as well.

PMS & Fatigue

Another good reason to start an exercise routine besides better health is the side effects of an exercise program and its benefits for PMS relief. As you exercise your body creates natural chemical called endorphins in the brain that make you feel better and reduce pain. B-complex vitamins will also give a natural energy boost along with a good multi-vitamin will be fantastic to propel you right past your PMS.

You should prepare yourself mentally as well to deal with your pending PMS each month and realize that with the right diet, supplements, exercise and mindset you can push past the pain and discomfort associated with PMS. You can join support groups or go online to forums and discuss with other who are going through the same things you are. Who knows, you might just find a cure for exactly what ails you and make a new friend all in the same day!
