Some Ways Of Detoxing Your Body - Articles SurfingA body detox is a natural way in which a person can help their body to remove toxins and other poisons that have accumulated, and which can interfere with a person's health and quality of life. Unfortunately our bodies are being continuously burdened with chemicals which it can not process and therefore can not be eliminated. Most of the toxins to be found in the body will come from the food we eat, the water we drink, and the air that we breathe. However, when looking for a body detox program it is important that you choose one which, not only you prefer, but also suits the type of lifestyle that you lead. Below we look at just some different ways in which you can detox your body, and so remove all those unwanted toxins and poisons from it. 1. Juice Fasting. This particular diet involves a person drinking only fresh fruits and vegetables and you normally will be doing this for between 1 and 3 days. 2. Water Fasting. Putting it simply, this is a diet where the person only drinks water. This particularly diet provides your digestive tract and organs in the body, with a chance to rest completely and is a great way for eliminating toxins from the body. 3. Alter what you eat. By altering what you are eating, removing processed and genetically modified foods, which contain large amounts of fat and sugar from your diet, and including whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables, you will soon reap the benefits. Whenever you are following a detox diet it is important that you should only carry it out for 3 to 7 days at the most or it may well compromise your health. However, a 3 to 7 day body detox diet is certainly beneficial for most people once a year. Most people will often try a body detox diet when they are experiencing health problems from fatigue, skin problems, or their bowel movements have become irregular, etc. What is important, though, before you start a body detox diet, is that you consult your doctor or a qualified dietician in order that they may eliminate any other underlying causes of your health problems. Lastly, in order for a detox diet to be really effective it should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise regime.
